Turn on CNN. They are showing excerpts from a blog the shooter wrote 3 days ago. But since you asked:

"Chattanooga gunman Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez kept a “short-lived” blog that included only two posts that were written on July 13, according to the Daily Beast.

Both posts, which discuss themes pertaining to Islamic theology, Allah, and efforts to remain committed to the faith, were written on Monday, just days before the shooting rampage."

"The gunman who killed four US Marines in what is being investigated as a possible incident of domestic terrorism wrote a blog urging Muslims to “establish Islam in the world” days before his attack, it has emerged."

Sickening. My thoughts go out to the deceased and their families.

Here's a link to the names of the deceased.

If the FBI haven't found any connection,do you know if they are swaying more to the "yes"theory then "no".By the way,Thank You for your reply.

I don't know. The news report I heard in the car didn't go into too much depth. If there is a connection the FBI will certainly find it.

What point? You can still respect a religion while at the same time recognizing the faults.

But alas, continue your pity party lol

So in telling someone else ot not generalize an entire religion...you reply generalizing an entire religion. Sorry, but it is true that while most things are off limits due to political correctness, ripping Christians and Christianity is not only accepted, but encouraged. People enjoy it...like you just did.

All religions are fair game to make fun of. Islam gets trolled way more yet the Christians seem to think their religion is under attack lol

I hate these fucking forums. I see that now you were not the one who said it.

I do not disagree with you that Islam gets "trolled" as well, the hypocrisy is typically the people who complain when Islam is criticized are just fine with slamming Christians. I disagree that Christians are not under attack just because Islam may get "trolled" more. Both religions get their fair share of unwarranted hostility toward them.

We know the guy didn't ship his gun from overseas ISIS territory, so how did he get his guns? They're easier to get than ID to vote, but did he buy them from a dealer and pass a background check, or did he just buy them from any number of private sales, like garage sales, where one can do so legally or illegally with nothing but the honor system stopping you in 44 states? i bet the latter. It's how most criminals get their weapons. Huge national security risk.

well to be fair if Christians followed the scriptures like radical Muslims do Christians would be treated far worse.

maybe in a few hundred years atheists will joke about how Muslims are hypocrites and pick segments at their convenience but for now we have a spiritual war being fought by radicals while civilized followers can only secretly support.

We atheists are saying that about muslims right now. ISIS is a perfect example of cherrypicking religous nutjobs. Pretty much all religeous people cherrypick, orthodox or not.

The 5th victim, a navy sailor, succumbed to his wounds. link

Terrible tragedy. Again, **** the shooter.

I see that there's more debate on religion than on gun control or whether or not recruiters should be armed (or recruiting stations should have armed personnel). Can't say I'm surprised considering it's always going to be a religious debate.
