[QUOTE="Rynair9"]I choose family guy, because the last 10 years the simpsons have been horrible and south park is good but not as funny as family guy.Palax
South Park. South Park has been consistently funny every season something Family Guy and the Simpsons can't master.
I'm a long-time South Park fan and I found the new season to be considerably less funny than the ones preceding it. The show is going downhill fast with the past 2 seasons.
However, South Park>Family Guy>>Simpsons

Agreed, this last season really has been sup-par.
Family Guy can be funny at times (like that one part when Brian and Stewie are fixing the house and talking over their walkie talkies saying "over." :P) but that "...like that time when..*insert random moment*" part can get really annoying and stupid, and the new seasons just sucked imo. So I will have to go for The Simpsons, despite how stale the shows got over several years and how disappointing the movie was.
As for South Park, I only watched several shows when the gang fights zombies, the biggest sh*t, and the funny parody of 300.
FAMILY GUY!!! hands down.
South park and the simpsons i didn't think were that funny.
but family guy is hillarious especially stewie and the random moments are always funny.
South Park, If we are considering consistency. Episodes such as Rainforest Schmainforest, Douche vs Turd and The Super Best Friends (It sucks that this episode is banned from the airwaves. Surely they could just block out Mohammad, like in Cartoon Wars?) prove the genius behind the show. The Simpsons up till season 9 would have edged out South Park fairly easily, but I have to consider the later seasons, which are abominable sins against television.
I'd say South Park, it seems to consistantly keep getting better and better.AnubisCraig
I disagree. Seasons 3 to 8 are the best quality, IMO. After that the show has lost some of its edge. I still love the later seasons, and the odd episode is right up there, e.g. Make Love not Warcraft and Overlogging, and I think season 12 is an improvement, but still somehow not quite as good.
Here's my guess on the age-trend of the picks in this thread

If the Simpsons had ended in the 20th centurary I would agree. The simpsons now has declined so far that I can't imagine anyone out of their teens finding the new episodes funny.
If they had stopped the Simpsons when it was still funny every episode a thousand years ago it would win instantly. But they turned it into a caricature of itself and it has sucked for a long ass time. Family Guy was always a skit show disguised as a sitcom style show, and it annoys me when people complain about the "manatee jokes". That's what it's always had, Brian and Stewie making jokes mixed with random comparisons and stuff. South Park has grown the most for me, the first few seasons were hella funny (:) ) because of the shock value, then it dipped for a bit, but they did what the Simpsons couldn't and reversed the slide. Now it mixes the lowbrow vulgarity with cutting social commentary towards everything from politicians to murderers in their unique "reference something by overhyping a tiny element" thing. Plus, South Park has Randy Marsh. Who wins.
Stan? STTAAANNNN?
Agreed. The Simpsons at its prime is the best by far.
The Simpsons on a good week now is the best by far.

The Debarted was one of the best episodes in the series and that was either last season or the current season.

Trey and Matt's take on the world is excellent. I never disagree with the morality in their humour. They never hold back, not that they are trying to be origional, they are just naturally funny as hell.

I couldn't disagree more. the third and fourth seasons were some of the best. They had "Mr Hanky's Christmas Classics (featuring Christmas Time In Hell)", "Rainforest Schmainforest", "Cartman's Silly Hate Crime" and the episode where Cartman goes to fat camp!
