Can I Get You A DrinK?

What do you say when you want a drink?

I tend to say coke or soda.

I say coke/pepsi

Once I turn 21 that will probably change.

When I say I want a drink, it always refers to an alcoholic beverage, preferably beer. I don't "drink" often though.

I always call the drink by name. That said, I almost always say Mountain Dew because that is one of the few carbonated beverages that I drink. If I am indeed in the rare situation in which I must use the general term, I say soda.

However, my answer to the general question in the topic title is a half-caf, iced venti, 3-pump classic syrup, breve, over ice americano. :P

I'm from up north in the states and we call it pop. Any other pronunciation is just asking for trouble.>=p

I usually say Diet Coke or water. If I'm at a bar though I generally say whiskey sour.

The only soda i drink is coke, and thats rare. I prefer fruit drinks,, lemoande, water and wine

I always ask for water or green tea if they have it.

When refering to a carbonated beverage such as Mountain Dew, I have always said "pop." Everyone in my hometown says it that way. I didn't realize how rare it is to find other people that say "pop" untill I went to college.

I voted other. I will take a juice or a bottled water please. I will pass on the can of liquid sugar.
