Sure. What are you looking for? Magic? Dragons? Space? Deep? Easy? non-fiction?

I don't really like Tom Clancy. I've read some Stephen King. I liked Desperation, Dead Zone, Dreamcatcher, Firestarter, ... Oooh, The Stand was freaking excellent. Read that. Also, if you think you might like those authors, try Michael Crichton. congo, sphere, eaters of the dead Orson Scott Card is good, but way different, Isaac Asimov is all sci fi in the future like, Neil Stephenson has some great novels like Snow Crash and Zodiac...

I'd recommend Orson Scott Card, my favourite author :) though you sound as though you'd like things by people like Chris Ryan, Andy McNab and others like them.

I recommend LOTR. Don't bother with Harry Potter, though.

for easier reads, but still great books, I suggest:

+Fahrenheit 451- Ray Bradbury
+Timeline- Michael Chriton (sp.?) (one of my all-time favorites)
+Life of Pi- Yann Martel (very good read)

and also, if you haven't read 'Of Mice and Men' yet, I suggest everyone reads that book ^_^

Sounds like you like horror books, I recommend you read Let The Right One in. Really good book, it has a romance angle and it has vampires, but its not cheesy or crap like Twilight.
