Was Justin Bieber bullied during a laser tag game on Friday? Did he retaliate by hitting and/or pushing the alleged ruffian to the ground, spurring a police investigation? Kinda, but the details are still sorting themselves out. According to numerous reports, the singer -- with two bodyguards in tow -- showed up at Planet Lazer in British Columbia to get his taze on, but was involved in some sort of altercation that led to his ejection from the game.
Police confirm to the Vancouver Sun that there is an "active investigation" into the alleged incident and the owner of the facility told the CBC that Bieber was being heavily targeted by other players and that he was kicked out after a 12-year-old boy complained of being hit by the singer.
Sources tell TMZ that Bieber was merely defending himself against the pre-teen, who allegedly called the crooner a "fa**ot" during the game. When Bieber asked the boy to do less hazin' and more lazin' (sorry, this is so ridiculous), the boy taunted him with a few more F-bombs. At that point, Bieber allegedly pushed the boy away and he fell.
But blogger Zach Taylor, who broke the story, disputes reports that homophobic slurs were ever murmured. Citing staff members who witnessed the incident, Taylor told the 'Today' show on Monday that Bieber was being surrounded by a "bunch of 12-year-olds" and "like any other kid playing laser tag, he just bolted right through the pack of kids and accidentally hit one of the kids in the face area."
Taylor said that Bieber and the other boy were not yelling at each other and that "Justin admitted to the police that he accidentally may have pushed the kid while he was running away."
The boy's father filed the complaint against the singer, saying his son was assaulted and sustained minimal injuries.
"There is an active investigation," a Royal Canadian Mounted Police spokesman said, without naming either boy. "We are in the process of interviewing a number of people that saw what might have happened."
Under Canadian law, police do not release the names of accused minors.
The Biebs is in Vancouver for a concert on Tuesday. He has not commented on the alleged incident.
What do you guys think? i think people need to just leave him alone its not like this is something that people never have done before and if he wasn't rich and famous the kids father wouldn't care.
