At 25 I think people start decaying.
That's still young..

Old is a mentality vs an age imo.
Once you become intolerant and judgmental of the young and lose your ability to empathize and relate, is when someone becomes old.
I'd say that generally 40-60 is middle aged, and 60+ is old though there are of course exceptions to that rule! No way would I class being in your 30s as old though, a couple of my work colleagues who are around that age are still occasionally being asked for ID at pubs and clubs, and also theres still plenty of hot women in their 30s!
I would also say that if you take care of yourself you'll probably keep your looks for longer, someone who is 23, smokes, does drugs and doesn't go to the gym will usually look older than a healthy 30 year old who doesn't smoke and keeps themselves in shape.
In most societies, "old" would mean when you approach the average life expectancy. In most modern developed societies, that would be around 60+, and in most modern developing societies, it would be around 50+. A hundred years ago, it would have been around 40+, and a thousand years ago, it would have been around 30+. As a guy in my late 20's, I probably would have been considered a "middle-aged" man in the ancient world.

60+? That's the average life expectancy of African countries. In most developed countries it's around 80 years.

Thats about right, but it hardly means thats old. People aren't even fully mature mentally until about age 30 in general.
I stand by 70+ in this day and age as old, people are living much better quality of lives at that age than they did back in the 1950's, at least many are.
100+ years old does indeed happen these days.
Almost 25, and I feel young, but I feel like I'm getting older every time I see college students.
haha yeah thats going to continue as you get older, they will seem like high school students eventually. You won't believe some of them could be in college.
Wait 'til you hit 30 they will seem quite a bit younger.

Only for North African countries, where the average life expectancy ranges from 72 (Algeria) to 76 (Tunisia). For Sub-Saharan African countries, the average life expectancy ranges from 47 (Sierra Leone) to 66 (Botswana). For developed countries in the Northern hemisphere, the average life expectancy ranges from 69 (Russia) to 83 (Japan).
Either way, I said you'd be considered "old" when you "approach" the average life expectancy, not when you actually reach it. Since the average life expectancy in most developed societies today is in the 70's, you'd be considered "old" when you reach the 60's. And for most developing societies, you'd be considered "old" when you reach your 50's, or even 40's in some countries.
EDIT:
About what I said before about the average life expectancy being much lower in the past, here are some Mummy portraits showing what "old" people (most of whom appear to have died in their 30's) would have looked like back in Roman-era Egypt:

80 For Black People
49-54 for White People
28 for Indian People
30-33 for ME people
48 for South Americans
and the rest between 50 and 65.
