Anyone ever come a knockin' on your door in the middle of the night?

Happened to me just last night, it was 2am and someone knocked on my door. I'm sure everyone in the house heard it but nobody made a sound, we were ignoring it. They pissed off and I was able to get some sleep, but it creeped me out for sure. This ever happened to you?

Happened to me a few nights ago. I walked downstairs, we exchanged looks through a window, and they left.

It's happened to me a couple of times, the most annoying part is walking down the stairs to answer the door, haha.

No, though last time it was Folsom Street Fair, our security light outside came on, and when I went to see what was going on, found a couple guys going at it directly under the light. Stay classy, boys!xaos

I had cops come knocking on my door one night years ago. They were looking for a roommate I no longer had. They wanted to look around and asked who was in the back bedroom. I told them no one as the room is too full to get a bed in it (I use it for storage). They didn't believe me until they could barely open the door.

Late at night once some years ago. A guy knocked asking if he could use my toilet - I told him to go in the bush, but he said he needed a dump. I was pretty wasted at the time so I let him stupidly. He ended up spending about 45 mins in there, and when he left the toilet seat was covered in dry skin. My house mate got spun out and waited outside to clonk him with a metal poker for the fire. I think he was just casing the joint as it was a pretty sketchy area. I vowed after that never let a stranger in for a s*** and give this advice out freely to all and sundry I happen to meet.

EDIT: Actually there was another guy who came round the same house with a baseball bat who called himself Digital Tim. That's another story :P

The people that live downstairs are tweekers, but harmless... Anyway, one of the guys came up at like 1am and randomly asked me if I had seen anyone outside their house messing with their car. I said no and he left.

no but I did get really drunk last night and started knocking on some dude's door at around 2am last night. :P

A drunk confused my house for his buddy's. Didn't know it at the time, so it was just some guy pounding and yelling on the door until the cops took him.

Yes. It's not really a regular occurrence, but it has happen quite a bit. Almost always family.

Yeah in my dorm evidentl me and one of my roommates had been talking about Dyansty Warriors. Like a day later some guy knocks on our door at 1 in the morning asking if we played Dynasty Warriors. We were both like wtf.

When I lived in student accommodation... every goddamn night.

My neighbours ex, repeatedly rang the doorbell for a long time, and it was about 3:30am :(
