Hey Guys

Its finally been announced that, the return of Samurai jack! For you guys and girls who might not know about this series, it was an original cartoon network series back in the day (I FEEL OLD ><), and randomly got cancelled with the story just left incomplete. It mixed a fantastic art style with masterful use of music and sound, and i’m really happy to see it return to finally finish of the epic story.

I highly recommend you guys check it out before the new series starts in march!

So are any of your guys going to watch it?

@smartandfit:

I knew it fairly well. I'd like to know who is behind the revival before I get hyped.

I enjoy many of the episodes. But I felt the plot dragged on too long for me to stay interested. Although I'm not the kind of person who really enjoys tv series. As I rather watch the whole thing at once in a short span of time.

But this is suppose to be a handful of episodes only. So perhaps I'll watch them.

I didn't think it got canceled. I thought they stopped making them because Mako Iwamatsu (voice of Aku) passed away and the studio for the last few years was trying to finish the series off as movie but couldn't get any traction....

Anyway, I am a huge Samurai Jack fan (One who thought Samurai Jack was the best of the prime time cartoon series from back then) so I'm happy that its back. I just hope 10 episodes is really enough to close the series up in a quality way....

It's the same guy, the art style has changed abit, it's become slightly more mature and the story is narratively linked rather than loosely connected shorts.

I am way hyped. I'm ready for Jack's road to redemption. Rewatching the show on Hulu to prepare.

not really....

Samurai Jack was a pretty sloppy and vague show. I never really knew what was going on or why things were happening. Haku was cool, but I wasnt really a fan.

But I really like that they are bring back a show from so many years ago, that really ever happen (especially in the cartoon world).

I'll probably give it a watch, I remember liking the series, but it could be a bit of nostalgia taking, might have to re-watch it before looking into the new stuff.
