Anyone conceal carry on the daily?

Getting my CCW, and contemplating on concealing on duh dailyyy.

So what do any of you guys rock, and what would you recommend?

Currently have my eyes on a Glock 17, or Baretta 92FS.

But people don't need handguns

Can't conceal my rocket launcher.

Always. On duty I'm forced to carry a 9mm but off-duty I carry my .45 G21 Gen4.

Since you think wearing a gun is 'rocking it' I think you shouldn't wear one.

People who say carrying a handgun is unnecessary obviously lives in a nice area with not much crime. I live in philly and it's pretty dangerous even in the so called nice areas you have to be careful.

I don't need to conceal carry because I'm neither paranoid nor endowed with a small penis.

Carrying a concealed weapon requires responsibility and since you want to 'rock it on duh daily', I feel like you're trying to be a tough guy, so I don't know....

Do you ever watch the news? Murders happen every day, are you content with laying down and being a victim for whoever wants to take your life or your property? While I'm not all for civilians having firearms unless it's used for hunting or sport, mostly due to culture difference no doubt.

I must ask though, if you're going to get a gun for protection then why hide it afterwards? Surely having it visible gives off the message that " Anyone try something and I can shoot you" would limit the probability of actually using it.

I think it's absurd that anybody in this thread thinks they should have some type of say in how somebody chooses to protect themselves.

If someone follows the law and goes through the training that is nine times out of 10 required for conceal to carry, why shouldn't they be allowed to arm themselves?

As to this notion that it's somehow cowardly to carry a firearm for protection? It's even more cowardly not to want to carry something that you could use to protect other people. I hope you have fun cowering if something ever does happen, knowing that you could have prevented it if you were armed.

I don't, actually, but there's a pretty significant difference between keeping a firearm in the privacy of my own home (where only my family is in grave danger of being shot) than taking one out in public with the completely irrational fear that someone could attack me at any moment.

I think people shouldn't be put into a position where they need to defend themselves, which is why I don't like guns in public (or in general). It's also why I don't keep a fire extinguisher in my home--I've never needed one because I don't do stupid shit like fall asleep with an open flame on.

This is the problem with you simpleton liberals and your illogical arguments....we do NOT have a gun problem...we have a VIOLENCE problem. You could magically erase all firearms from this country right this second and those with violent tendencies would still find a way to harm others. This is what you do not understand and why we will continue having a human problem as long as you are focused on the weapon and not those using them to kill.

The FACT is we had about 11k homicides committed with firearms in 2012, yet 80 MILLION Americans legally own firearms and did NOT kill anyone. So please tell me why WE, the legal majority of law abiding citizens are the problem here.
