@with_teeth26: Yeah, it's a different kind of adrenaline...not too keen on danger myself though; family and all that.

@mattbbpl: Ah, to be young again... :p

@indzman: I'm sure you aren't :D

This is where I spent my day today. Everything was pretty mild but still fun...except that bloody wooden coaster...yes, it is as rough as it looks...ouch...

I find long vertical climbs and drops give me a better adrenalin rush like the Kingda Ka at Six Flags.

The Sky Rush I posted earlier was not as tall. But, the sensation of being thrown out was intense because of the lateral Gs.

Kingda Ka is pure drop.

@jun_aka_pekto: That looks amazing! :D This is the tallest I've been to but not vertical drops, just steep inclines. Found it quite boring, to be honest.

Some rides are milder than others. I found out I needed them to regain some energy before the next major adrenalin-inducing ride.

Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to walk to the next ride. ;) You know what I mean with spaghetti legs. Even mild rides can cause it. But, I recover quicker. After a really intense ride, I had to sit down and wait for my legs to readjust. Ha Ha!

Between Hershey Park and Six Flags over a 4-day weekend, probably where I got the gray hair I have so far. ;)

@jun_aka_pekto: I do know what you mean but I'm the other way around, though. If I stop, all my adrenaline just leaves and I end up feeling exhausted and not wanting to do anything thrilling for the rest of the day. Normally in that sort of parks I do all the crazy stuff in the morning, then take a break for lunch and just do the chill stuff in the afternoon.

It is pretty safe as long as you're attentive, aware and don't take shortcuts.

What scares the shit out of me is scuba diving. Done it once, freaked out, walked away. Talk about claustrophobia... /me shivers.

Can't blame you, deep holes in the ocean are terrifying to me somehow XD

That is freakin scary man. I wouldn't even want to ship over that. That hole can swallow you hole, too scary.

@LexLas: No kidding...the thought of falling, and falling, and falling...I know that realistically I'd drown before falling too long, but still...

Whassaup Pedro? Long time no see man. Missed you little old brother.

ISIS landed a couple of terrorist attacks on my home town yesterday, so I thought maybe there's some hot discussion on in OT. No such thread though, as I expected. OT looks deserted, most recent posts are days old - and besides no one cares what's happening in Tehran. Fair enough. But hey, look who I found here in OT...

On topic, yes I seek thrills!

@elkoldo: Hey, how are you?! Sorry to hear about the attacks...nothing I can say will make it better but I'm glad you're safe! And I do care what happens there; I might not be a major news outlet but I do care.

Just did my first ever rollercoaster with my son (he'll be 2 years old in 3 weeks). He loved it and even though he laughed the whole way down his uncle convinced him to make his "scared face" for the photo XD

We did this one (not my photo)

I wouldn't be too worried. The salt content in ocean water would keep you pretty buoyant. I'd be more worried if there were gas bubbles oozing up from the hole interior. That would make sinking inside a nasty proposition.

I could stay floating for hours, barely moving, at the surface if I snorkeled there.
