I just got a new 3D TV and I am really psyched to start watching 3D movies or maybe playing some 3D games. So, I was wondering if there were any good 3D movies out yet, other than Avatar, I intend to play them on my PS3, so yea. Maybe even some good 3D documentaries would be great.

Thanks in advance.

I refuse to watch movies that are released in 3D that aren't made for children or made for imax. If they're PG13 or up, the focus is often on the 3D, not a quality movie.

3D with glasses sucks, if given the choice I would always watch 2D.

The 3D glasses in the movie theaters honestly are not bad at all. Those red and blue ones are horrible though.

The new Pirates of the Caribbean (sp? who cares!) is going to be in 3D. I'm sure you can IMDB to see what else will be in 3D.

How To Train Your Dragon is great. I also have a 3D setup and it was one of the better 3D movies. My advice is to get IMAX documentaries, they're always awesome.

I get to go to some IMAX shark movie next week for school at the aquarium. Will be a good day of school for once.

It's awful. It ruins the framerate and colors, and makes it blurry and dark. The 3D effect it unnoticable most of the time.

I thought it was way better personally and I have pretty bad vision. The 3D was always prevalent to me. I loved how the characters popped off the screen for the entire duration of the movie without those corny 3D moments of the guy throwing something at the screen and what not.

You went to a bad cinema.

If the projector is properly calibrated, then you'll have the same colours and brightness as in 2D and the 3D effect will be good. But some people just don't bother to do it.

i'm off the 3D hype. I saw a bunch after Avatar because Avatar's 3D was incredible and the rest were hardly improvements and not worth the extra $5 i'll wait for The Hobbit and the next Avatar before i see any more 3D

I agree with Dawq902, I personally like those 3D glasses. The ones that I got for my TV are these weird stereoscopic glasses that requires batteries. So, anyway, I don't really care if its a movie for kids, I actually don't mind kids movies, and I am still open for any suggestions.

Thanks in advance :D

P.S. I also have bad eyes, but I still liked the theatre glasses

Werner Herzog's Cave of Forgotten Dreams is out now in limited release, and its apparently the best use of 3D since Avatar. I really want to see it, but its not playing where I live.
