Alicia Vikander to be Tomb Raider !

Nice ! I'd think she be perfect as Tomb Raider's Lara Croft. She was great in her latest Ex-Machina.

Jolie was eye candy and the rest of the Tomb Raider movies fell so flat, it isn't even funny.

I'll reserve my judgement until I have seen the movie(s).

People said the same for Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, being all skinny and look how that turn out! She build up muscle to take the role as WW.

Yeah but those picks were during THE filming of Tomb Raider. I can see the thing with Gal Gadot because not every version of Wonder Woman was buff. But even the new, less improved Lara is still some kinda thick. She just loss muscle tone.

She actually did in the Tomb Raider Legend trilogy. The only reason why you couldn't see it in the ps1 games was because of the lack of the proper technology.

She looks close enough to the new TR, and is a good actress.

Not sure what else you could ask for. If the movie is bad it will likely be due to other reasons.

Should've been Jessica Alba. She doesn't solely rely on her looks and I'm tired of the patriarchy putting out these movies objectifying women. It was bad enough when they made a movie glorifying the imprisonment of sex bots, especially the asian ones.
