How about another two? : Jeffrey Dahmer.
Dahmer was messed up. Most serial killers are actually quite smart and aren't insane. The ones that are smart usually follow a direct method of killing and rarely differ from it (Ted Bundy) others (like Richard Ramirez) are unorganized serial killers and are harder to find since they switch methods of killing and kill at random, not targetting specific people.
