Ok, this might be a little weird but here goes.....
So, I intend to have myself tattooed at some point in the not so distant future. It's going to be place on my chest and is an interpretation of the human heart.
I intend this to be a pacemaker in the sense that it's an energy core with an organic feel to it. It's a heart afterall.
Originally, it was meant to be a futuristic sphere with several cords extending from it in order to connect with potential later tattoos. With the help of my sister, I have since arrived at the idea of the somewhat battered thing you see below.
I suppose my problem is obvious at this point... I'm hopeless at converting thought into image......
Anyway, it's still a mechanical, yet slightly organic device.
I'll highlight my intentions with the above sketch in list form:
- It's clearly made from metal, yet not entirely covered as in the sense of being airtight.
- beneath the surface, you can tell there are various parts of a high tech device.
- there's the eye in the middle, this is obviously the central core of the thing
- it has a couple of external cords. These are partly cosmetic but also meant for future expansions, ie if I'd want some sort of muscle on my arm for example.
- It's quite battered, this is something my sister did while trying to interpret my thoughts, but I kinda like it
- I intend to have the final image give off a sense of depth, this will greatly enhance the impression of the external cords. I don't expect or desire complex 3D of course.
- Considering it's an energy core, I want it to emit light, or rather glow a little from within it's shell.
- While this, is a piece of machinery I find myself drawn to the slightly organic idea
These are guidelines of course so feel free to go wild if anyone actually bothers ;)
I realize this is a demanding request but I don't know anyone with artistic talent so I have nothing to lose.
If you like doing this sort of thing, please help me, your work may end up permanently engraved onto someome's chest.
