I have never heard of anyone being banned from art class for this reason....Things have clearly changed since my school days...

i got banned from art in grade 8 after my teacher got me mad and i started whipping open bottle of paint at her, but i guessi kinda deserved it.

If the school were suspecting him to be mentally unstable and a possible suspect in a possible school shooting wouldn't banning him from a class make him more violent?

its funny that schools expect you to do the worse as opposed to trying to foster you to be your best. worst part, some people support this. they just dont care until it happens to them. . . noone cares b.c its not their problem.

i was expulled 4 saying soemthign i shouldnt have said. .. ..but im over it, i grad univ already

My friend always drew communism signs...She never got in trouble. Only by the teacher, but it was her expression of art...

This is why the school system of today is fail. Liberal teachers take every measure they can to keep students "safe" and "docile", even if that means booting someone if they draw a weapon. They see something like that as a "hint", and they go overboard. Tell me, did the "Gun-Free Zone" sign stop the guy in Virginia?

The solution is to move to canada. Back when I was in high school and in Metal art class I made a knife and got good marks for it. Other people made swords and such.

I draw swords all the time. Infact, I'm doing "horror" as my theme for advanced higher art...I'm not banned (yet).
