Has anyone noticed than whenever someone gets arrested, no matter what happens they always get charged with assaulting an officer?

There has to be some history between the man and the police, because holy shit that is beyond excessive force for no apparent reason. That's like... lolwut?

The old man could barely catch his breath after walking down his driveway, but officers say he assaulted the 4 of them, and resisted arrest.
He's also being charged with "Elder Abuse", because he was helping his elderly wife get to the road when he saw the emergency lights.

The police academy really needs to tighten up on who is allowed to be an officer because this should never happen.

The guy was clearly a threat; I mean, look at him! He's apparently such a badass that he wouldn't stay down, forcing the police to hit him over and over again until he looked like that. Scary old man...

Wish the old timer had a gun to defend himself with. Oh, wait, Holder and Obama are too busy taking them away and giving them to the cannibals in Syria. I guess we're just gonna have to get use to the beatings.

Because it would have been a great idea to shoot the police officers...

In my entire life I have yet to meet a single gun owner, and as a result our days are spent in fear and powerlessness while we are oppressed and abused without the means to shoot them in the head...

Is this surprising? I mean the police in america is abusive and violent and get away with everything

I have yet to be in a situation where I need a gun to defend myself, and I don't know anyone that has (apart from people who served in the army). Either the states are a lot less safe or the dangers that apparently warrant the use of firearms are being overblown.
