2019 was best year for TV in a long time?

I can't remember one year that had so much good shit.

• Game of Thrones (Kinda weak last season, but still)

Chernobyl was excellent, but had some flaws.

It could be. I watch TV series all the time, although reruns too. The only ones I've seen this year are The Boys, The Madalorian, The Witcher and Game of Thrones. I hated the last season of Game of Thrones. The other shows were good.

I should get around to watching Watchmen. Great list though you forgot The Expanse season 4.

Yea it was a great year for TV.

I'd add Succession season 2 to that list

Mr. Robot last season was some of the best TV I've seen since Breaking Bad I can't recommend that show enough.

huh, so streaming services are considered a part of Tv now? That's kinda weird.

i think most people do consider it TV. mostly to distinguish it from movies. i think the understanding is there that it doesn't actually have to be watched on a tv

It was the best year for TV for me in a long time. Hadn't cared about watching tv channels in ages, but decided to get an antennae to watch stuff now and then.

Ended up being transported back to a better time for sitcoms through reruns of older shows.

Eww get game of thrones out of there. And yeah this season of Mr Robot is one of the best that I've ever seen. Also add Dark season 2 to this list.

Another sad show to add in When they see us is The Act.

Great year for TV, but none lf those were in my favourites.

Yeah it was pretty great for me personally. Some great stuff came out in 2019 sure but I also saw some older stuff in 2019 as well.

it is and it isn't.

TV is television, so really anything viewed on a television is "TV". If I tell someone I am going to go watch some TV, that could mean literally anything.

But then again I think people's connotation of "TV" is viewing shows on cable.

I think it can go both ways, but in today's age I think you can include any series or show as "TV". I haven't had cable for about 15 or so years now.

I never actually thought of it in those terms haha
