While I agree that the murderer should be executed, all the torturing y'all suggest sounds a little barbaric to me. Just kill the dude, we don't have to pay for his detention, and he will never be free again.

Oh in case anyone was wondering, practically all ppl like him just proceed where they left off once they get out of jail again. Icing him is the safest most respectful way to end the problem, both for the murderer and society.

Carlos_Santana

Yeah, why waste our tax dollars on scum like that? We should just put a bullet in his head and be done with it.

Then we are no better than him.

that was murder, this is punishment.

If a rapist rapes someone, then I guess we should rape him

I think what he is meaning is that they deserve to experience the same horrible pain they so callouslyy inflicted on an innocent person, and see how it feels for them to be the victim.

No, that **** doesn't fly in American prisons. They isolate high risk prisoners to their own block and they rarely make contact wih the rest of the population. So if someone does get the oppurtunity they will shank the bastard. They must be protected, because they are a high risk. .

In America Internal Affairs stations undercover agents as prob-e's or prison guards within the prison systems. To watch and make sure that **** doesn't happen. Their job is to look for the rogue prison guards and other employees. Just like within the police departments and FBI.They will even pose as prisoners to make sure they are treating the prisoners properly.

I know several guys who work for corrections and prisoner transport. A few of them have the delightful duty  of  escorting and protecting these wonderful people from the rest of the prisoners. while they are out of their cell block.

I read an article this morning. To give you a basic outline of the story: Edmonton Alberta... A guy nicknamed pyro aged 19 admits striking the first blow on a defensless 13 yr. old girl with a sledge hammer. Then his friends took wrenches and anything they could find and brutally beat her to death caving in her skull 10cm before it was all over. This is all after they brutally raped her.

Article link: http://www.canada.com/edmontonjournal/news/story.html?id=a6beafbf-448c-4823-bf0b-64d5442362fa&k=0  This desribes fully the haenus incident.

More and more often i find myself ashamed of my fellow humans. it's really sad that given the opportunity, we'd tear eachother apart just for the hell of it. but hey, i lost my faith in humanity a LONG time ago.

I don't know if it said so in that article, but the one I read in the news paper, said so. And come on, they beat her skull in, do you really think she would of lived?

First line, "A sniffling and weeping 19-year-old accused killer" Unless they killed someone else, I think that makes it pretty clear.

:| We don't have as many mental cases as USA does, so the death penalty was never really found of importance. Although I do agree that those guys should be killed. Sometimes you just wish someone like the Boondock Saints would come along and take business into their own hands.

hers a story from the internet to clear things up:

and yes i was her friend.

Nina Louise Courtepatte, 13, died from blunt force trauma and aggravated sexual assault on April 3rd, 2005.

Charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault were Michael Erin Briscoe, now 36, Joseph Wesley Laboucan, now 21, and three teens not identified by provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

One male teen, aged 19 and nicknamed "Pyro", pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in youth court in Stony Plain on December 8th, 2006. He was to be sentenced as an adult in April 2007.

Briscoe's girlfriend, now 19 and named "Cindy" in this narrative, was to go to trial March 5th, 2007. Pyro's girlfriend, now 17 and nicknamed "Buffy", had a trial date set for May 1st, 2007.

A month had passed since local homicide detectives were last called out, but the first murder of the spring of 2005 found them dealing with an unidentified young female who was found bludgeoned to death on an Edmonton area golf course.

On April 4th, 2005 a groundskeeper inspecting the fourth fairway of the Edmonton Springs Golf Course Resort, located 30 km west of downtown Edmonton, found a teen's body as the winter's snow was receding.

Due to the severity of the beating, dental records were required to identify her.

By April 15th, 2005 RCMP had laid charges of first degree murder against five people.

For a complete recounting of events prior to the Brisco-Laboucan murder trial, visit the Nina Louise Courtepatte page.

After a week-long voir dire hearing – a trial within a trial – regarding the admissibility of evidence, the Crown's case against Joseph Laboucan and Michael Briscoe got underway.

Court of Queen's Bench Justice Brian Burrows had yet to rule on whether the video interviews and the jail cell conversations would be admissible in Briscoe and Laboucan's trial when it began.

The nature of the Briscoe-Laboucan trial was made difficult to follow at times due to the number of young offenders and witnesses who could not be named under provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

there ya go here a pic of her too...
