I agree with you in terms of MK and pooz.
PS. This isn't a new concept. I said this a looooong time ago, and I recall a backlash towards me saying it.
Number of reasons, people are getting older and moving on. I was like 13-14 when I started posting here. Now I'm in my 20s, weird ****. I can't picture myself permanently leaving, but the posting activity will never get back to what it once was for me.
EDIT: These damn glitches are ****ing it up too.Â
I blame Gamespot pretty much burying the unions after their redesign a couple of years along with Gamespot unions still stuck on the same old ass website that's its been using for as long as I can remember due to CBS's inability to modernize this **** along with the rest of Gamespot.Â
People kept leaving but no influx of new people coming in to replace them because how the **** are they even supposed to find unions any more. Not to mention the popularity of Gamespot itself falling like a rock in a big ass ocean and regulars growing out of Gamespot or not having as much time for it as they used to I guess.
now that i think about it, this forum didnt really go downhill til you left. Apocalypse33Well, and that too I guess...
I agree with Aljosa. There's more threads on OTB on how what killed it or why users are less active rather than more music threads which is what it needs.
If there was a way to move this union to another website to get more traffic it would be better. GS ain't bringing any new users.
It happens when you get old. Generational thing. No it's mostly from dudes constantly complaining rather than doing anything to make it better.

X-Fade
Word.
Back in the day, Gamespot used to bring in new members all of the time. After a while, GS buried unions, much like they buried UCBs in their redesigns...who can find these places any more?
They've also alienated their users with the TOS. It finally took it's toll. People used to link to their favorite places all the time in their sigs...and those links would bring in people from OT or SW. Once users smartened up and realized that going to OT or SW meant being banned, they stuck to the places were GS was less strict (unions/UCBs.) What I'm getting at, is that not only has GS stopped advertising us, they've discouraged us from advertising ourseles...part of that is from the TOS being so incredibly ****ty for about seven years. The fact that I was permed for an extended period of time is asinine to me...still.
