well he's got his own opinion... we should be happy that he doesnt feel pressured to give it a high score if he doesnt think its superb. the review will cater to people with unique tastes on adventure games like his own
Any one see something wrong when he writes a four page review on Tony Hawks 3 and gives it a 10 ( http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/sports/tonyhawksproskater3/review.html?q=Pro%20Skater&page=1 ) then only writes a two page review on Twilight Princess...

How in any way does the score affect how much you are going to enjoy this game? Will this put you off of buying the game? The answers are it doesn't and No. I will be getting it and enjoying it regardless of any score. This conspiracy theory business is a little ridiculous and remember a few days from now when you are playing this game how silly you have acted. Again RELAX it is just a score and in no way reflects how you will enjoy it.

Have you actually read the whole review? Having just done so i can say he does make good points so his score is not unjustified. 8.8 is still a very good score. Jeff's no where near as evil as you all make him out to beChack1598
Wow im speechless, but its so odd that every other editor/journalist can give it such a high score while Jeff gives it some mediocre score, but oh well because ill wait to judge it myself.
Look I must admit something I believe that the score might have been dropped just a little bit . Value should have gotten a 10, that's about it ... maybee 9.0, maybee 8.9
I was showing the On The Spot Wii Marathon to my mom...and she pointed out within the first couple of seconds how unhappy "the guy in the astros jersey" looked. Jeff looked like he was forced by convicts to sit on a couch and play the Wii -- he really shouldn't be allowed to review nintendo products if he openly hates them
I am disappointed that GS allowed Jeff to review the game. I saw the Wii marathon and this guy wasn't intrested in the Wii at all so why let him review Wii games. Giving TP an 8.8 because of the Graphics and music. The soundtrack for this game is good I have heard half of the music for this game. As far as the Graphics go, don't forget Jeff Graphics don't make a game (remember the GTA series it is a good series but verry terrible Graphics but that didn't stop  you guys at GS from giving San Andreas a 9.6 so don't give me any of this outdated graphics BG!!!). I will still come to this site but as far as getting Wii reviews I will turn to Matt and IGN to get some decent and fair reviews.
Nah I haven't given up on GS, I only ever did really like Greg's reviews, haven't read any of Jeff's reviews before (and not reading this one because of spoiler alerts from friends) and I don't think I ever will. I only really trust a few IGN reviewers and Greg and this is exactly why. Yeup, Wind Waker and Perfect Dark Zero are definitely better I think.

This dude I work with is a total Sony fanboy. He's been talking smack since day one about how the PS3 is going to completely blow everything else away...he likes to get into 2-hour conversations as to how powerful the (overrated) Cell Processor is, and blah,blah,blah.. Last night he got a chance to play Red Steel at a Target store and several PS3 games....today at work, he's telling me how much the Wii rocked...he was absolutely amazed at the gameplay of Red Steel...he was laughing and telling me how when he raised the sword and shield it just felt so natural...if you swing the sword gently, you only incur minor injury on your opponent, but if you swing the sword heavily, you incur major damage on your oponent....he just couldn't believe how envolving the game was...i've never seen this guy so excited...He's already preordered his PS3 and I have a feeling he is going to be coming over to my place and playing the Wii instead...frankly, i feel sorry for the guy spending all that money on a system with only one decent release game (resistance)...have no fear Nentido peeps..the Wii will pwn all consoles....:) Zelda's score of 8.8 is a pretty decent score, and there are other awsome release titles to be scored yet....so keep your pants on...8.8 ain't bad for a gamespot review.

I totally agree. Anyone that cant see that he clearly hates Nintendo is blind. He IS biased, there's no mistaking it.

Great score - I'm sure there are a lot of people thankful to see it chart so high. The score bashing going on these days on every gaming website is ridiculous. Just go out and buy the game; because if you care that much to scathe the review for not having a high score, then you were probably going to buy it in the first place anyway.
