They promised us Super Smash at launch! Obviously even Nintendo slave drivers couldn't hurry along the cycle of their fighting game when its creator is STILL having online questionnares about what your favorite character you want in the game is. I don't care! Why not Pokemon it out with a few different versions (Melee-type, Old School type, Downloadable type) and let every fan boy in the world be happy! Please, cause even Mugen gets old when you're not playing it online, and I have Jump Super Stars...cause this wait is Friggin insane!

It's funny watching people predict the future when they have no idea as to what it's going to hold. Nostradamus may have been close with some of predictions, even though they were really vague. But then again, if you try to throw a rock at the ocean, you're not going to miss, unless you're blind.
But in all seriousness. It's funny to see, because they didn't know that Nintendos new system would actually compete with the two others in this gen. It shows the success of the system and the success of nintendos game plan to the demographic they were looking at. Which is a really large demographic. They wanted to get everyone, and they are capable of getting everyone. And that is what the system is doing.

Well atleast they have Pokemon Battle Revolution in Japan :) He said they were working on it and were "hoping" to have 1 or 2 at launch...Emphasis on "hoping" and "1 or 2", its not like they said "We will be bringing alot of wifi titles at launch"...And about the DVD atleast they announced before the console was released that they scrapped the idea..Plus a DVDÂ capable Wii is coming out this year....
Worry not,with time the wifi games will start rolling out..
He also said "Next generation versions of Mario and Zelda are already in development"....We've seen Super Mario Galaxy and i'm very sure he didnt mean Twilight princess...Hmm, i've heard that before but it actually seems like the next Zelda has been in development for quite some time..Cant wait to see it :)

anyway that video is funny, i bet they'd feel like idiots if they went back and listened to all the stuff they said about it being behind and not so innovative.
1. Nintendo ARE trying to differentiat themselves from Sony/Microsoft. 2. Nintendo IS the perfect 2nd console. 3. Nintendo DID make their console less powerful and cheaper than the competition.
I dont watch AotS, but they were mostly right ('cept the part about "how different of a controller it be.")
