Will Super Mario Galaxy be better than Super Mario 64?

I loved super mario 64. it is one of my favorite games of all-time. lots of people are saying mario Galaxy is better the mario 64. do you think mario galaxy could actually be a better game than super mario 64?

Super mario 64 got a 9.4 on GS so apparently they think its better. By the looks of it I'd say I agree with them.

See, as 64 was, it was the first 'full' Mario game. That makes it more revolutionary.

Galaxy, however, is not as revolutionary, but is somewhat better

Have you played any platformers in the last 10 years? There's been tons of better ones. SM64 was the first but is definately not the best.

I have a feeling I'll say that when I'll buy Galaxy.

Its like comparing SMB3 to SMB1. Both are great games but SMB3 is a lot better, thats how it is with Galaxy. Of course it can't be as revolutionary as SMB1, only the game that lays down the foundation can do that. But that doesn't stop it from exceeding it in terms of everything else.

Imo, SMG>SM64>SMS
