my wiimote was working fine last night, but today, when my littl ebrother turned on the wii, we need to aim like 3 feet away from the the side of the TV to get it to be at the center. i tried reconnecting the wiimote, but it didnt help. ay suggestions?

Make sure ur sensor bar is pointing the same way as the tv and it is slightly over the edge of the top of the tv

Also make sure that there aren't any infrared sources off to the side of your TV.

wipe off any dirt on the sensor bar and the top of the wiimote

Try going into the options and changing the sensitivity of the sensor bar... Thats what I had to do.

Ya like ThePlothole said you probably have a window or something emiting light and messing it up. Also you should try going to Wii Settings and adjusting the sensitivity just enough for the Wii remote to see the sensor bar, but that might not work.

IF you got tube lights, ( lol i cant spell flurecent) then turn them off, also close your blinds. my pointer bairly works with the blinds open and it dose not work at all in the basement with the tube lights :0

thank god it works just fine in my room ...

Turn your christmas tree lights off!

Best bet is to go into the calibrate sensitivity section and if there are interfering light sources you will see them here.

Other option is your sensor bar is not aligned with your TV correctly.
