Wii U VC to have GC games, which ones should be avialable first?

If I am understanding the other topic correctly, the Wii U will have Gamecube games avialable for download, though on Wiiware (WiiUware Im guessing) or VC I am unsure as the person said Wiiware but could had easily had meaned to say VC but accidentally said Wiiware.

Anyway, if it is indeed true, what Gamecube games should (do you want to) be avialable first? Lets asume the few gamecube games that were updated with motion controls will not be put onto VC.

Basicly, this topic is just for fun and I am just wondering what my fellow gamespot users are hoping for in terms of Wii U VC (gamecube games wise).

My advice, don't jump to conclusions without confirmation. There is no guarantee this true or even that the Wii U will have a VC. Remember the Wii ran out of VC games, since so many of the worthwhile games from back in the days are license games. I don't know how much they have in the tank for another console generation. I guess they could just put the entire Wii VC on there at once and add maybe Saturn, Dreamcast and more N64 games.

Hopefully they have been working on adding all 786 Gamecube games on the Virtual console. Instead Nintendo will take their sweet time and add 2 games every 2 weeks. Thus have only 34 Gamecube games on theVirtual console after 5 years.Some games are never going to make on Wii U Virtual console due to the copyright issues. Since some 3rd party publishers don't exist anymore.

I would be kind of nice is Nintendo could rip the entire Gamecube library to it's VC servers and have the whole library ready to go on day one. But that will never happen since the current VC library is incomplete. And never will carry a systems entire library.

So go withthe top 10 sellers from each year of the Gamecube's lifespan. 2001,2002,2003,2004,2005,2006, (even 2007) which got about 10 games for the whole year. Last game ever was NFL Madden 2008.

I would love to see Wind Waker on the WiiU VC. HD or not.

I would love to see Paper Mario and the thousand year door on the WiiU's VC/Wiiware.

Luigi's Mansion would be a logical choice. That's really the only Gamecube game I still need to purchase.

I have a lot of GCN games I wanted.

But there are still some games I never played and are hard to find now.

The games I want but never played are

• Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
• Baten Kaitos
• Baten Kaitos Origins
• Pikmin
• Pikmin 2
• Fire Emblem Path of Radiance (I played it but I rented it and it is really hard to find)
• Viewtiful Joe 2 (I have Viewtiful Joe one)

I would also like some games I did have but my Nephew borrowed them and now they are in terrible condition

• Super Mario Sunshine
• Luigi's Mansion

Lol I thought the same thing. I don't think I need to beat WW again anyway. I played through it like 5 times (though that triforce fetch-quest was a bit of a road block).

At any rate if they do have a shop it'll probably be a delayed launch like the 3DS.

It isn't completely ridiculous to think that Nintendo might give us our money's worth for paying for games that some us might already own, and make them HD.

Release ALL the Phantasy Star games that were for Gamecube (Especially Blue Burst as its one that I haven't played) with the Online Play that they had. Upscaling them would help but wouldn't be necessary for them to be good. Additional Content could always help also Voice Chat would be a major +++ on games like this and Monster Hunter.

Also release Geistas I've heard that game was pretty good. I never got to play it. All with Motion Control Option because I REFUSE to play a FPS with Dual Analogs ever again.

Oh and release Capcom vs SNK 2: EO with Cla$$ic Controller support and Online play!!! My gosh, I forgot that was on Gamecube

That isn't a fact, it is a likelyhood. We see HD collections all the time, and Miyamoto loved the idea of Pikmin and Zelda in HD, it's not completely out of the question.

Well obviously Melee should be one ofthe first one to come out, Luigi's Mansion since it was a launch title, and The Wind Waker.

Knew they would do this. Sweet. Definitely need Wind Waker in 1080p. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is welcome since I've always wanted to play it. Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes followed by a port of the HD collection to the system for people who have never played the game(s) before.

That's about it. Other than that I just want to transfer my Wii virtual console games to the Wii-U so I can finally sell my Wii.

I really hope they let go of this idea of releasing games as they were on their original systems. It would be great to see games with optional motion controls added. The keyword here is OPTIONAL.

I already have the game and a working Gamecube. The reason why I said I'd skip it is because the Wii-U isn't backwards compatible with Gamecube games but I thought downloading it would upscale Wind Waker to 1080p (that would warrant another purchase from me). If it doesn't upscale then screw it. I'll just keep my Gamecube version.

Eternal Darkness, Pikmin 2, Baten Kaitos, Tales of Symphonia, and various other games that I have not played.
