Lately i have been getting messages coming up on my Tv screen while strarting up the wii that says something like-

An error has occured... and so on.

And the system starts making some kind on noise. Then i cant turn it off, i have to unplug the cord to restart it, and it happens quite frequently.

Does this happen to anyone else? also is there a way to solve this problem?

My Wii freezes when Wii Play is in there, I have to manually cut the power for it too. If you figure it out, post it here so I can fix my problems.

only problem I had was one time I shut off the wii it didn't fully turn off, screen was black but the light was still green so I just unplugged it and plugged it back up, turned it on then off again and it worked. That's only happened to me once though.

MY wii froze during Red Steel, Madden 07 and such, it wouldn't turn off and there was a continous BEEP noise. When I emailed Nintendo, they told me to call them- I haven't though, because it hasn't happened again for a while. I'm thinking it was a case of overheat

My Wii has been making A TON of noise when I'm playing a game. It's 50x louder than normal. Also ocassionally my Wii freezes, and sometimes it can't read my discs even though I keep my discs in perfect condition. I think I got a bad Wii. Sucks for me.

My wii gets an error message once in a blue moon about not being able to read the disc when I first try to run it. Usually I just power it off and restart and everything is normal. I guess the wii is really sensitive to dirty disc?

If you are truly having these errors and problems, you can call Nintendo and they will fix it immediately, you are getting sarcasm becasue there are a lot of PS3 fanboys claiming Wii errors or noises that the Wii isn't even capable of doing, so Call Nintendo.

^ Check your router. That's the most likely problem

But there's an entire thread just for Wii errors, "Fixes for your faulty Wii."

Go there, not here.
