It doesn't look like Tara or Locke is in it at all.

What gives?

because the US release of final fantasy 3 all those years ago wasnt actually final fantasy 3, so its a remake in japan but here its a new game, at least that was my understanding.

the SNES game that came out in 1994 was Final Fantasy VI, but was renamed as Final Fantasy III in the US

The FFIII game for the DS is a remake of the original FFIII, which only came out in Japan

I thought everyone knew that already

And the name is "Terra" not "Tara"

You're speaking of Final Fantasy 6 whci was the third FF title to come out to the states. I'm with you though where is my FF6 remake I really want on the Wii or Ps3 though. I rather have a home console remake in the case of FF6 (second Best FF next to Tactics)

because what you think is FF III is actually FF VI. the REAL FF III is the one that got a remake for the DS.

I suggest you do some research on the Final Fantasy nomenclature... the SNES games featured the incorrect numbers. Also, her name is Terra in the US, Tina in Japan.
