Before anyone thinks I'm trolling, I'm a fan of all systems and I love my switch. But here I am, I've beaten all my current switch games and I'm browsing the switch shop and my God, it feels like im browsing the Android App store with the quality of games available to buy. Both have a few gems here and there but...overall I feel like the quality of games SERIOUSY lacks...not even comparing it to the psn or xbl, it just, lacks.

I'm looking for a few quality games to dl. Can somebody recommend me something? I have and beaten mostly all first party nintendo games and the RPGs on the shop although I like, I simply dont have time for anymore so i haven't played any in a long time.

Yeah the eShop needs a major overhaul. Good indie games are being lost in the sea of rubbish that is on there.

@hrt_rulz01: yea sadly that's the situation im in. I know that there are some good games in there but I have no idea what they are and trying a new eshop game is like a shot in the dark.

I never have good experiences with any console store fronts.

If possible I will browse on my PC and buy a digital code on Amazon or wherever.

@slvrraven9: Yep. And I've wasted plenty of $$ buying games that turned out to be rubbish ☹

I am not really a fan of the eshop in general. I hardly ever use it every game I ever got and played has been the physical copy. I just prefer to have the cartridges for my games.

I prefer simple stores, (Steam for example is way too messy with tags, curators, charts, and the rest of the bollocks to trick you), but the eshop is probably too simple.

I like how the eshop is just a shop and doesn't allow ratings or comments or anything else. But it needs to be more sortable. Right now it is just like a big list of games.

The Eshop is decent if you live in a world where you can’t go to a store to get games because of COVID 19. Ever since this virus stuff started happening my last 3 games on my Switch Lite have been from the eshop.

There does need to be better quality control on the eShop. It's starting to look like Steam, and not in a good way. Every time I go to the new releases section, there's a slew of cheaply made, half assed titles that bury what good stuff there is. Nintendo needs a halfway point between draconian release overlord and release anarchy.

Who would've guessed that "looking to release around 20 to 30 indie games on Nintendo Switch per week" would result in a Steam-like avalanche that would bury quality games?

Oh, yeah, everyone saw this as the quickly-arriving end result.

All I can comment on is that in my opinion, when there's a bigger sale it's pretty decent.

Going through steam is bad enough, doesn't have the perks of publisher stores.

Steam can be more of a pain in the butt than any Eshop that ever exists.
