Who's Going To Buy a 3DS.... And Zero Games?

I wil be doing so!

I just don't like any of the titles out right now, but the 3DS apparently comes with a lot of different little games that can be played. That should keep me occupied for a while. I have to buy a 3DS on launch day though, for two reasons. It shows you have baller status and it proves you are a true Nintendo video game fanatic . I never miss Nintendo launches ever! But of all the launches, this is the worst game lineup I've seen. Sucky.

i already preordered 2 games and the 3ds paid em all in full , picking up asphat tomorow

Leaning towards it. Kind of want to get either SSFIV or Rayman 3D, but will probably end up just getting the system with no games.

for now I'm planning on picking up Okamiden and Pokemon White, but I mean cut Okamiden for SSFIV, although I wouldn't be surprised to see Rayman or one of the racers for $30 or $20 by May

I almost was going to...but I have been on a huge FIGHTER kick as of late...(MvC3 and soon to be MK), so I think buying SS4 will hold up for a while. Plus I dont own the console versions so it will be all NEW to me.

If I was to get it launch day then I wouldn't get any games probably. Maybe SSF4.

Gonna get it in June though, so we'll see if there are any games out by then.

I think SFIV might be the best of the worst, hehehe. Maybe I just don't get it, but fighting games get so boring to me. I think of all the video game genre's, they have the least replayability (besdies Smash Bros which is on another planet of godlyness). You fight in about 10 matches and you beat the game, congrats. Some fighting games have different endings for different characters, but the ending are so shallow they really add nothing to the game. You just end up doing the same old fights over and over again.

Me too. Maaaaaaaaybe I'll get Pilotwings, but I think I'll just hang on till there are sweeter gamez. I'll have Shogun 2 and Portal 2 to play, until the real games arrive.

Im doing the same thing. I was thinking of getting SSF4 but i decided that i wont since i already have it for consoles. I haven't owned a DS in a really long time so im just going to pick up some DS games that i have missed for cheap. That will keep me occupied until some better games drop.

Whats the point getting no games for the 3ds when you buy it. So your just going to wait for good games.? By the time you do wait the value might go down on the 3ds and you will just lose money for nothing. At least get one game for it..... isn't street fighter 4 enough !!!

I'm in the same boat as you, TC. None of the launch games appeal to me so I'm gonna just play Pokemon Black until something else comes along.

I might get nintendo cats but that's it. I'm waiting for resident evil to come out.

Wasn't planning on picking up anything, but may give SFIV or Pilotwings some consideration. I never played Pilotwings or SFIV so both would be new areas for me. Plus SFIV woudl be the first fighting game that I woudl have purchased in years. I was hoping for a good actioin game to pick up, but don't know if any of the the launch titles will be worth it. Lego SWIII I have a feeling will not be good and Samurai Warriors hasn't lived up in the past that i don;t think the game will suddenly shine on the 3DS. Hopefully the reviews will prove me wrong. Only time will tell.

I really wish Monkey Ball or one of the racers had online.

Street Fighter IV maybe, I dunno. Toys R US is having a buy one, get one half off sale on 3ds games on sunday

Yeah SSIV for me but yeah I was like you and thought i'd buy one and just wait (play AR games and stuff)...but SSIV looks pretty solid and fun and haven't played since Street FIghter 2...I just hope alot of people play it so i can be occupied with online. Also...what's next to look forward too? Whens KH, MGS, OoT, and SF64...oh yeah also those RE games?TigerWars

OOT is june 7th, SF64 is this year, and RE Mercs is Q3 2011

As of right now I have a blue 3ds ordered, but I am not getting any games for it yet since there aren't any that have released yet that really catch my eye, Until then I just plan to play my regular ds games on my 3ds until something like Dragon Quest 3d or Final Fantasy 3d comes out.
