Standard def 31" square tv. I'm looking at the hdtv's though, I'm more interested in it being wide screen than it being hd. (although both are nice)

CRT. LCD and plasma screens have lag, and it's noticable in games like Metal Slug Anthology.

I switch between my 42 inch Westing House lcd and my 50 inch Samsung DLP. Mario Galaxy is awesome on the 50 inch.

37" LCD. The menus and a few games look okay, but most games and anything to do with Mii's is a jagged mess. Curse you Nintendo and your lack of HD support.

No, It all depends on response time and component cables and TV manufacturer.

All LCD screens create lag, it's just more noticable on some models than others.

It can be so little it's unnoticeable though. That's my point.

42" Vizio LCD - never have seen any of this so-called "lag" or digital screen ripping. Sure you guys have your TVs setup properly?

I don't have a Wii as of yet, but I need to know how it will look on an HD. And will I need to buy compos or compon cables?

heyheydoh

How it will look depends on the TV's brand, quality, size, etc. You'll need to buy component cables to get the best possible picture. Wii games looks better (sharper mostly) on my brother's 32" HDTV than it does on my regular TV.

A 40" Samsung 1080p LCD, hooked up my the component hookups. Truth be told, it kinda brings out some of the weaker elements of this system... but at the same time, I'd rather play Twilight Princess in widescreen, you know?

I have a42'' 780p-1080iplasma by Samsung.I have component cables as well. However, Wii games look even more jagged in HD. Other than that--it still looks good!

42 inch Sharp Aquos LCD HDTV. It's an amazing tv, but makes wii look worse than a smaller tv. I'm spoiled with my other console's graphics and new movies.
