4. Hight definition
And thats all i can think of right now
1. High Defenition.
2. CD and DVD Player.
3. Good Online.
4. Good Games.
5. 50GB or larger HD.

1. HD that is on par w/ competition and 'up to date'
2. honestly, cds and dvds are becoming obsolete. sure, it'd be a nice feature to be able to play cd's, or connect my ipod/mp3 player to it. (of coursea CD player isn't a necessity like others on the list) AT LEAST a DVD player, but since it should have #1, an HD DVD or something (prolly not bluray... {too expensive, maybe})
3. --- i have yet to try Wii online, and no one knows its capabilities, so i'll see whussup on that, and get back on online play
4. --- (must i really reply........)
5. 50 GB? not a 'necessity'... but the space should be in the 'giga' level, and wayyyy past the 'mega' level. the option to freely upgrade/add/remove/replace would be very useful. (external hard drive, anyone?) hellll.........(Flash memory anyone????)
and i'll add #6...
6. PRESSURE SENSITIVE TRIGGER!!!

By 2011, HD will either be the norm or something else will try to replace it. If they are going to do anything in this area what they should do is make the video cards upgradeable!2. CD and DVD Player.
I don't get why people think their "VIDEO GAME" system needs to have DVD playback, what is the point. That is why they sell DVD players, so you don't wear out your video game system!!3. Good Online.
I have used the WI-FI for Nintendo with the DS and have had no problem playing anyone, why does everyone hate it so much. No one even knows how it is going to work in the first place.4. Good Games.
Your opinion on this one is yours alone! Talk to the developers about this one, it's not Nintendos fault 3rd parties are sucking it up.5. 50GB or larger HD.
The Wii has USB ports for External HDD support. They are releasing a HDD this year! They need to make sure that people can't steal the VC games. Why do you think you can't save these games to the SD cards and what would you need to download on your video game system that would require saving. Don't you have a computer for that.1. duh, by the time there is a new console there wont be non-HD TVs. 2. itll probably happen ,theyll be even cheaper in the future, and in fact it might be a hd dvd or bluray player 3. maybe, you know how nintendo is 4. i think thats the point of a console system 5. you know that in 5 years 50 gigs will cost like nothing? so def. more will happen. i think the wii has it all, they need third party support and a good online system really1. Not many people like having to use 16 digit numbers to play their friends.

Last time I checked, I can't get Virtual Console on my PC.
2007 and the thing cant even play CDs. tman978
I know playing DVD's would be nice, but why would you need it to play CD's?
-internet connection port thing for WIRED connection as an alternative
-a program that lets you play music from mp3's
-a better online system for friends rather than the friend code system, like gamer tags
- a hard drive
-play DVD's
-at least 720p or High Def.
-a headset (wireless)
- 2 more USB ports
I don't have a problem with the Nintendo Wii, but next time, i'm sure Nintendo can go farther, because i bet they are making a lot of money with the Wii's
-Hard Drive
-HDMI Port
-Wireless Headset
