I think the next pokemon game should only have a couple new pokemon to bring the total to like 550, have fully online play (offline optional, but you obtain a few of the strongest monsters this way), let you create your own trainer, let you choose a starting region and be just ONE game cart instead of two or three. It could also have achievements, maybe some new customization and battle upgrades, one or two new pokemon 'types', and absolutely NO pageant show things. By completing certain achievements like, say, capturing a legendary with a poke ball or poisoning a poison-type pokemon, you would obtain rare items, accessories and even tickets that you can use to reach stronger legendary pokemon. Fully 3D graphics would be nice too, but that isn't going to happen, and I can live without it if they can accomplish some of those other things.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you are still mad about the formula not changing to your liking you can always play Pokemon mystery dungeon, but remember, Izuna is better than Pokemon mystery dungeon.

Agreeing with Ovirex.

Pokemon should become a MMORPG but no like most MMORPG's where all you need is very rare equipment.

Instead, all Pokemon should be obtainable in the offline mode, so no ONLY ONE legendary in the entire online game

I think its going to be named:

Pokemon Onyx and Pokemon Granite

Pokemon Topaz and pokemon Amethyst

And as for the Pokemon duskgold and dawnsilver, there is a 70% chance they will make it. The reason why is that the pokemon games are being compared to the show. Ash starts in Kanto (red, blue, and yellow), then goes to jhoto (gold, silver, crystal), then goes to hoenn (ruby, sapphire, emerald), then competes for the battle frontier at kanto (fire red, leaf green), after that he travels to sinnoh (pearl, diamond, platinum). So the chances of Ash going back to jhoto are very likely, but i doubt there will be new pokemon.

EDIT: Maybe they should make a game where you get a new pokemon when u get all the uknowns.

Adding on to the online Idea:

Online and offline would take place in diffrent dimensions. Like, at any time in your offline game you can go to a pokemon center which would have a portal next to all the multiplayer options. You enter the portal, and choose a dimension to enter out of a list (Servers). Once you choose you are in an alternate dimension similiar to the offline dimension but with many things would be changed around to function with large amounts of trainers, such as the lack of gyms and the inability to catch legendarys. Everything you do in the alternate dimension would be as if you did it in your offline dimension. So if you level up online, when you return you are leveled up. The online would also have a diffrent story then the offline, one in which every trainer is fighting the bad guys, not just you. Both online and offline wouldn't have villians that are part of any team.

It's a wrong decision they already made Platinum. That's like it's gonna be the last of the series (which will never come anyways). In my opinion Black & White's has 10% chance, but Jade, Opal, etc. has a way bigger chance. Personally I think they should come up with new names (so not colors), so everyone thinks it has totally new features.shinta1
