The only problem I could see with a Nintendo Paintball is the single player. I'm sure they could make it work, but I'm just having a hard time seeing how the sp would work out. Would you use paintballs in the sp? They surely couldn't use guns... lol
The multiplayer would be awesome though. I think it would probably get huge if it was taken on the correct way.
i have pondered this for years, its a great idea, a way for nintendo to cash in on mario fame, and FPS popularity, and show the world how to do an FPS revolutionize all while staying family friendly
While this is an interesting idea, I don't think that Nintendo would place an object in one of their character's hands that looked like a gun. I know that a paintball gun can and can't resemble a real gun. It would be sweet though. Maybe they would give them slingshots!
Warp pipes to get round levels, Galaxy based levels with fun gravity to contend with, ice and fire levels, Caps for flying, Cannons, Bullet Bill emplacements. And I'm sure Peach and Zelda would be up for a few rounds of capture the princess, since they must get a kick out of it!

Some of the stages I would think of: Mario Arena, Wario's Woods, Peach's Castle, Luigi's Mansion, Mushroom Falls, Koopa Plains, DK Jungle, Shroom City, Bowser's Castle, and Star Field.
