(UPDATE) TWEWY -Solo Remix- for iOS Hints Sequel!

At the end of the iOS port, players were treated with this image:

New character, wearing headphones, holding a Mr. Mew doll, "New 7 Days." This is obviously teasing a sequel and she's likely to be the new protagonist. I wouldn't get too excited though -- there's a possibility that this sequel isn't for the 3DS.

Cool I guess. I couldn't stand TWEWY, so I'll likely pass on this, but it's good news for fans of the original.

I hope this is a sequel on the 3DS, that could be just the RPG it needs. Well, Pokemon is the RPG it needs in terms of sales. But this would be awesome. It could really get the ball rolling for RPGs to come out on the system and I'm sure it would get tons of support itself.dsrules13

This is awesome news though! I have been waiting for any info to surface about a possible TWEWY game. Given how well the characters from the TWEWY looked in KH3D you would imagine they already had a 3DS game in the pipes and just borrowed the art for KH. One can hope at least ;).

The only question now is will the sequel have the same game mechanics or have they gone for a more traditional RPG or Strategy style of game mechanics. I know it might not be what others want, but a turn-based mechanic style (FF for example) or strategy mechanic style (FFTA2 for example) would be interesting.

Very interested, wouldn't surprise me with TWEWY characters having cameos in KH:3D.

If it is a sequel, I wonder if they will keep most of the characters from the original or change them.

I think it's a squeal. The song sounds like a remix to calling if you compare both the oringal song and the one on the site.

The backround is fantastic (as you can see in the first post). The BGM is a remix of Calling, Twister, Twister Gang Remix, and probably some other song. :shock:

Words can't describe the amount of respect lost...... and how butthurt I and many are I assume. Can't get over the fact they make a week long countdown teaser site just for this..... other then the whole "7 days" theme from the game.

I can only wish that SE is happy..... happy to crush and ruin the dreams and hopes of TWEWY fans everywhere.

I'm glad that Square Enix are trying to expand the franchise, but I would have preferred if they told us immediately instead of making that countdown. That countdown was better suited for something bigger than a port.

I'm so glad I didn't hype this up. :P

Well that was a let down, good thing I didn't get my hopes high... They're probably testing to see if the game can sell outside of the DS realm. In other words, if they do make a sequel, it may not end up on the 3DS..BigBen11111
