It all depends on your gaming niche..If online is your concern, go for a gaming rig or a 360...

EDIT: :lol: Im so intertwined with gaming nomeclature I often use terms in the wron forum..RIG=PC..OS a gaming PC..If you have a decent current rig then a video card may be the only upgrade you need..8800gt may be something you will like..

I say you should. I don't know why people often think that the Wii is something to play like once a week or something. It has some very good games out and not to mention all the great games still to come.

I would definitely get a wii if I had a choice or the money. Everyone I know has one but me and I spend most of my time playing it at their houses. It's a lot of fun playing w/friends and all but I want one to play stuff like Super Mario Galaxy which takes quite a bit of time to complete I hear.

As a 360 and Wii owner, I can tell you I play both about equally. I grew up playing Nintendo, and I believe some of the best games ever made come out on Nintendo systems (like the recent release of Galaxy). The Wii offers a new and unique experience with tried and true franchises like Metroid, Zelda, Mario, and others.

I play the 360 with my roommates all of the time. We are usually on live playing Gears or Halo 3. Overall, it is the better system for online games, better graphics, and shooters.

If it's possible to have both systems, I woudl say go for it.
