So i want to buy the Megaman Collection for the 3DS, but my circle pad feels not as good. Will the game still run good? In the game, you need to have good reflexes, and i assume a circle pad that works is also important. My direction pad on the 3DS is chipped on one side, i am worried i will break the direction pad if i keep using it, so i can't use it.

@hydralisk86: Thats a hard one to answer. Id think youd prefer using the d-pad, but thats not to say the analog stick cant be used effectively. I hate to say it, but depending on how much more gaming you want to do, maybe sell or trade that beast in and look to buy one on Black Friday.

Id also buy Megaman Collection then too when games go on sale for buy 1 get 1 40% off. But check all the major stores cause Megaman might go for cheap at say Best Buy, or wherever they still some. Also remember shopping online during Black Friday is best.

Another option is to take your 3DS to Gamestop and check if they have a used copy of Megaman Collections. If they do, ask the dude if you can test the game out. If theyre not arseholes, they should kindly allow it.

@iandizion713: How good is the D Pad on the newer 3DSes? Are they all much better than the one on the Original 3DS, meaning how do they feel and work?

Just making sure, we are talking about the directional pad, not the Circle Pad?

@hydralisk86: Yeah, the older one, or the one you and me got, has squared edges. The newer one has rounded edges. Might be hard to tell in the photo, but its a lot smoother on the fingers. Also my analog stick is smaller on my n3DS which i thought was weird, but i got use to it.

Both of mine are the standard editions.

Analog stick on a classic 2D game sounds disgusting to me.
