which fighting game would you reccomend me to get? i really want to get street fighter but im not sure on the modes that it has, does it have alot of modes like the street fighter 3 alpha on psp like 2 on one battles etc ?

i'v heard tekken is just straight arcade mode which i guess is forigivable , though i know the psp versions have again, more modes but alas i want another fighter for my ds , are the online communities active or is it rare to find matches? thanks!

Get Street Fighter. I liked both of them, but Street Fighter 3DS beats Tekken from a quality standpoint. It's more balanced and has much better visuals.

Both have about the same amount of modes (neither are all that robust TBh). Tekken doesn't have a standard arcade mode. It has survival (which is extremely fun) and a mode in which you fight eternal opponents to raise your rank and earn Tekken cards (which can also be earned in survival mode). Street Fighter, on the other hand, has a regular arcade mode.

They both have online. I haven't tried Tekken's online, but Street Fighter's runs very well. You'll probably get your ass kicked if you're not a great SF player tho. As for the community, I had no problems getting into matches but I haven't played it since late last year.

I think you should get both at some point, but Street Fighter is no doubt the better of the two games.

Dead or Alive Dimensions > Blazblue: Continnum Shift II > Tekken 3D Prime Edition > Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition. Tekken is good but incomplete. BlazBlue lacks online but is otherwise great. SFIV is terrible on any system. Dead or Alive is easily the most complete package though.

Get Street Fighter 3DS unless you want a free movie, in that case, get Tekken 3D Prime Edition.

Why limit yourself, go out and splurge, get both.

DOA Dimensions>Street Fighter IV 3D>Tekken 3D>Blazblue is what I think overall. It really depends the games are so different. From my standpoint, Tekken has better visuals and 60 FPS with 3D turned on plus a free movie, but Street Fighter has much better multiplayer and more content.

SF4is good, but the online community is terrible. I hear DOA is the best on the platform.

This is a great move. Alpha 3 MAX is so much better than any version of Street Fighter IV it's not even funny. I think you'd find yourself playing that version more even if you were to get Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition.

If you want a recommendation you'l better add a survey. In any case, SFIV is way better than Tekken, IMO Regards

I thought for a moment you were talking about SFxT coming to the 3DS; which by the way, sucks, so it wouldn't matter.

I have tekken street fighter and dead or alive. I truly love all three but my favorite is street fighter 3d. Excellent launch game that really looks close to the ps3 version

Did you know that if you turn the 3D off in SF3D the game runs smoothly? Not only turn down the slider but actually going to the game menu and turn the option.

Tekken 3D. It's not bad at all and for fans like me it's great. Most of the reviews were negative more because the reviewers were whining (I know that sounds harsh :P) about what they wanted rather than appreciating what was in the game. Street Fighter IV 3D wasn't half as good.

If your looking for a good handheld fighter Dead or Alive Dimensions is the best one on the 3ds. Street Fighter is ok, but it'll probably get shelved after a couple weeks. Tekken 3D isn't too bad offline despite the lack of single player content, but online it's laggy as crap.
