Super Smash Brothers on the DS

Two friends of mineso far have told me that there is going to a super smash brothers on the DS. I highly doubt it, can some please tell whether its a rumour or if its confirmed or anything for that matter?

You do realize that not everybody can import games, dn't you?

it would be nice but it wont happen. and if it does, it probably wouldnt come out for a long, long time...long! I'm sure sakurai will want to take a break after this expansive and breakthrough game.

funny thing is i thot this thread would bring up the control issue issue. Not only does jump ult. stars also prove it works, but look at how players can use the wiimote to play. The Ds, has like 1 more button than the wii. and they are all in more comfortable positions than the 'b' button on the wiimote.

Every DS is region free from my understanding. I own a few imports that work just fine on both my DS systems.

If you are among the last few people in existence that don't own a debit/credit card for import websites like playasia, even the chain electronics stores are carrying imports at regular cost.

If you can't get import games for your DS, leave GameStop and drive to Fry's...

Also...it would be totall sweet like they could make the game like street fighter type game,... or like some kind of adventure mode and then you can get with your friends over wifi and then play that way... that would be awesome

people, maybe, just MAYBE it will happen on the DS after brawl. The world does not have time to hype for brawl and smash bros ds at the same time, if there was one.

First of all, I've only heard this rumor a handfull of times, but it is just that, a rumor.

HOWEVER....there were rumors of MarioParty DS long before it was announced, and everyone said it would suck, never happen, be a disaster, etc. So..

Don't give up hope just yet. It's still possible.

Yes, there was a Halo DS. I'm not sure if it was made by Bungie or not, as I didn't really bother to read all of the articles about it, but it was 100% confirmed as a real product. I'm not sure if it was a 2nd party company or what, but it did exist, and it was nixed.

Personally, I'm really, really sad it didn't come out. I can only imagine how awesome it could have been.
