Is this a deal breaker for you?

you will be able to play only in TV mode and in Tabletop mode.

Since the mini games require forced motion controls. you can not use a pro controller or a joycon grip. you can also not play in handheld mode obviously.

Wasn't gonna get the game anyway, I have a friend who'll get it.

But Nintendo not making Pro controller or handheld mode possible is just Nintendo being lazy. They could have the game recognize what controller you use, and then not give you the minigames that don't work for it, instead of just removing the option completely. Same with handheld mode. Problem solved.

Easy for everyone to fix, except Nintendo.

Not supporting the Joy-Con grip is the most disturbing as that's what everyone starts with. But it depends on how the controls feel when I play it. I will say it doesn't sound appealing at all.

Doesn't bother me. I'm all for it. I liked the Wii motion controls when they worked for Mario Party. I guess the downside is the portability issue. There should be a non-motion control option (like a joystick mode). But I can live with it.

A company that builds a system and markets its appeal on the fact that you can simply lift it out of its dock to play on the go doesn't include on the go functionality.

Only Nintendo.

It's called Super Mario Party. Its whole purpose is to be a party game that you play with other people. As such, these design decisions make perfect sense.
