Kind of like what gametap does would anyone think it to be a good idea for nintendo to charge a monthly fee on the VC with unlimited downloads? Maybe even something like netflix where for a monthly fee you could play the game for as long as you want but you can only have 3 at once. I dunno. Anyone think something like that could be a good idea?

I think that'd be a fantastic idea, but people who don't subscribe should still be able to download games. That way, no one is left out.

That's why I think it's a bad idea.

You could play the entire library in a 2 days.

God, no. The VC doesn't have the kind of output to sustain a monthly service. That'd be like 12 games a month, not many of which are in high demand.

If it included WiiWare maybe. It might be bad for Nintendo cause they lose money, but it could be good for us if you're a heavy VC/WiiWare gamer. But someone said that you only get 12 games per month and most of them suck so if that's true then it could possibly fail hard. I think it'd be a good idea for Nintendo to tinker around with though. Maybe a annual subscription instead? Like Xbox Live.

That would not work. Limiting what people could buy would bring down their sales big time.

I don't think it would be very popular. What I would really like would be some way to download demos of games, or download a version that only plays for ten minutes. There's a lot of those old games that I might really like, but I'll never know because I don't want to waste money downloading them.

No because you would never own your games, what happens if you cant pay the bill one month? There goes all your games, also toss in the fact that you though people were annoyed with the whole "cleaning out the fridge" thing imagine having to change out rented games everytime you want to play something.

I wouldn't want that because I actually like to own my games. Nintendo wouldn't do that because they'd lose money.

I think that would be good, because most VC games, you play/beat once, and never play it again.

Um, that's what a company does.

I don't exactly know how to respond to that.
