Who thinks all of the characters from the previous game should stay> Or is there anybody you think they should trash? I love all of the characters, but my favorite is Marth, and I hope they keep him and Roy. However, I would like the clones to exercise a little bit more individuality...What do you think?
Keep everyone... except these characters, in this order: Pichu (useless) Dr. Mario Young Link change these characters Ganondorf (he needs his sword... i dont recall him fighting with his hands) Falco (He's exactly like fox except his UP B is worse and his gun and he jumps higher) Luigi (keep everything he has... except his running A, it embarrasses me :P) Roy - (just needs a different moveset) explanation on why certain ones should stay Game and Watch - he's not a clone and he's original ice climbers - they are good and they are original. plus i didnt know they existed before melee characters i hope wont make it in Waluigi Any sonic character that isnt Sonic himself (i dont even care if sonic is in there)
and i also like marth and roy, with roy being my favorite in the game. but i think that they should replace them with ike and ephraim from the new games.
keep the following: everybody except falco, captain falcon, marth, jiggly puff, dr.mario and young link they should also trash wario everybody else is fine
Solid Snake's games are just as fictionaland unrealistic as the F-zero games and the zeldas and the Metroids.I think he'll fit in just nice. ColonialMustard
Tactical espionage is as unrealistic as super intergalactic space races? A world full of fairies, time travelling, and a magical sword? Outer space, alien-fighting, bounty hunters with arm cannons?
yea i have to agree with smashbroslegend. Solid snake games are completely more realistic then zelda and f zero games. his whole games are based on espionage and killing actual people, unlike zelda where its creatures......and stuff....

We already have a Samus. Zero Suit Samus will be the same character, except faster and slightly weaker, just like Ganon and Captain Falcon were in Melee.

Zero Suit Samus will be the same character, except faster and slightly weaker, just like Ganon and Captain Falcon were in Melee. well... i thought the word clone used in melee talk meant someone who has the same moves. and from the trailers, i dont think ZZS and Samus have the same moves. plus.. she's already confirmed so there's not much more to discuss on her...

And metal Gear is just as unrealistic as metroid. Maybe zeldas a little cartoonish, but common! Giant robots with nuclear warheads, people with super natural abbilities? Sure it's more violent, but if you took away the blood and neck snaping, it'd be just like metroid; nothing more than science fiction...
looking at the trailer, it actaully looks like ZZS with be replecing Sheik in the game. She has similiar moves and her gun has similiar funtionality to Sheik's special moves. For instance, the dart throw can be replaced by a rapid fire, and her chain move replaced with the whip mode of the gun. THis is extremely likely for Sheik can no longer be a part of Zelda because she's modeled after the TP version, where she does not turn into Sheik. And the game's creators won't scrap Sheik because she was one of the more popular characters, so allocating her moves to another more current character will make more sense.
i think that every character from the previous game should be in Brawl, but their movesets should be redone. (except maybe young link's.) btw i too am good with dr. mario.
Everybody should stay except Pichu. He sucks! And why get rid of Dr. Mario and Young Link? I own with those characters! This is the people I own with in order:
1.Young Link
2.Mario
3.Roy
4.Falco
5.Sheik
I own with these guys so they shouldn't get trashed!
Take out all pokemon and use them as pokeballs, remove game & watch, luigi, ice climbers, and young link, give ganondorf both his swords and make the one from twilight princess a skin.
pichu with another cooler pokemon / dr mario with PAPER MARIO / young link with either cell shaded link or some1 els from the series

ridley / king k rool / king deedee / sonic / knuckles / peppy or slippy / geno / waluigi / bowzer jr / hey if snakes in it why cant leon or some1 els from the resident evil series be in it too?
I totally agree with blueteeth with the fact that King K. Rool should be added as a playable character in Brawl. I also would be happy if we could play as Diddy Kong as well.
