I'd be hesitant for it coming to both. The graphic in that game and the customization is huge, though the DS could ruin that and the friend codes will probably hurt the interactivity that the PC versions produce. I'm interested in them and the Wii with the connect24 would make sense, a lot more if it weren't for Friend Codes, but it certainly would be interesting to play.
I don't think friend codes is even needed for the type of game Spore is. The game only uploads worlds from other players but you don't directly interat with anyone. I mean you don't need friends codes to actually play against other people, you only need them if you want to play against thema gain.
Also Will Wright did say that if you don't want to be online that the computer will do the rest. While there is a bit of processing power needed I have not seen anything on Spore that could not be done on Wii. I mean non of the characters are exactly high poly.
