It looks great but IMO the explosions are horrible.

Agreed, too realistic and too uniform.

yeah true,explosions do look crappy,everything else looks great,dont you think?

Yup, screenshots dont really do justice for this game but in motion it looks incredible.

theres some links to videos about dinosaur planet beta that didnt make the cut,was cancel and remade for gamecube instead of N64,but according to what i have heard,dinosaur planet was suppose to be a whole different thing but the creators of StarFox took that idea and made it to the awsome StarFox Adventures that we have now.....

I saw this a while ago. In its current state I really am not convinced that this will be a good game. Its just been looking a bit lame. Meh. Plenty of awesome games to be looking forward to anyway. Final fantasy 3? Tales of tempest? Pokemon Diamond and Pearl? Heaps more to be out in the next 3-4 months :)

Hmm, getting lylat wars to work on DS must have been difficult. The DS is a weaker system than the N64 and there archutechture is very different. An emulator is out of the question so that guy must have ported the game himself. Back on topic, I hope SFC is good but i have to say they really F***ed up the charecters' aperances. Edit: how ignorant of me, LW isn't really running on the DS, that guy is just using a movie player and pretending it is.

Nah, it was just a clip of SF64 playing on the DS with play yan or something and the kid was prolly just acting like he was playing. At this time there is no way to emulate an N64 game on the DS. People used to do stupid stuff like this on th psp. They would play a movie of a game and act like they were playing it. losers...

Yeah, you can tell if it's a handheld emu. Whenever light comes onscreen(such as a character holding a flashlight) they get slow. I saw a vid of a guy "playing " Mario Kart GC on his PSP; I believed it for 3 secs until common sense kicked in.

If they polish it a bit more a put in levels that are as cool as the original Star Fox then it should be amazing...The only thing is that so far I am not sure if there are normal levels as such, just open maps...
