I've heard it's going to come with Wii Sports Resort, But other than that I have no idea what it really does. So how does it enhance the Wii gameplay exactly?

I did a little reasearch. Hacked Nintendo archives (Kidding). and Read nintendo power and here are my findings:

1. It makes the wii remote more sensitive.

2. It can now register the speed and power of a swing.

3. Unknown if it will enhance currently made games.

According to this article, Nintendo has no plans from M+ backward compatibility.:( Most likely a programming issue.
