Right now I have the original DS, but its gotten pretty scratches, and the Lite is pretty cool. Does anyone know if its worth the money to get a DS Lite, if I already have an original DS?

Certainly. Even if your DS was in good shape, the screen brightness and overeall design of the Lite are great, unless you have huge hands :) You can even get a bundle, and get a system of a color you like.

if you play your ds often you really should get a lite. it is so much better and you won't regret it at all. they aren't really expensive and im sure you can trade in your old one to help the cost. DS Lite is the way to go for anyone who uses their DS for more than 1 game

it depends, if you have a gamecube and play something like pokemon cilesium or xd to try to transfer those pokemon to firered or leafgreen or ruby or sapphire. but if you do its fine. there are many improvements.

I think the original DS is just fine, unless you feel that you need a Lite.
