Personally I refuse to re-buy anything I already own in some form. I like old school gaming as originally intended if possible. I'd spend those points on games you've never had before.tomarlyn
Amen and that is what I do also.
I purchased Mario Kart as well on the shop channel but found a hard copy 3 weeks later after 2 years of looking. So sure the wii has fancier graphics. That is the only time I have a N64 game hardcopy and Wii version at the same time. Though another thing to look at. If you have friends that come over alot or something. Repurchasing some games on the wii may be worth it like Mario Kart for an example since I got more(4) gamecube controllers then I do N64 ones that have a excellent joystick(2). So gotta think about many factors when purchasing VC games if you already own a hardcopy.
So focus mainly on this
-What version do you have more controllers aviable for if its a multiplayer type game
-N64 games, Do you prefer seeing a tiny bit higher resolution graphics? or would you prefer orignal graphics and controller.
-Is there better games you don't own a version on the VC you might be intrested in?
-Are you a collector like me and by chance run into some of those titles currently uploaded and may hold off a few more weeks just in case you never do find hardcopys of games.
i downloaded mario kart 64 and have for N64. idk why i did but its easier than to hook up the N64 and the gamecube controller is way more comftorableair_wolf_cubed
Yea same here ( although I play with the classic controller) but I downloaded mario kart 64 and super mario 64 and I have it for the N64. I did it cause my N64's analog stick is loose and it barely works
Have any of you re-bought any titles? Ninguy
I've re-bought Mario 64, Star Fox 64, and Mario Kart 64 for one simple reason - they're absolute classics. My N64 has been dying for awhile, and the controllers have been worn out for years. Yet my Gamecube controllers have stayed in near-mint condition for about five years. I think it'll be easier some day in the distant future to pull out my Wii -- just my Wii -- and be able to play any of the best that the older cartridge-based systems had to offer.
I didn't download Ocarina of Time, by the way, because I own the Gamecube version. I can just stick the disc in and get the same thing out of it, no need to re-buy it.
Thanks! My birthday is on the 11th by the way.NinguyMy birthday is on the 16th!! lol but i would recommend Super Mario 64 for DS (if u have one) instead on the VC version.

If the N64 controller's analogue stick has gone bad you could try following this if you're interested. Pretty easy and worked wonders for me anyway.
I already have the DS version of Mario 64. And I'd rather pay ten bucks then try to fix the N64 controller. That looks confusing :DNinguy
Yeah but its better than a controller that barely works. Don't forget all your other N64 games will benefit too :). I have Mario64 DS too though and I'd say its the best version personally (sold the original years ago for some crazy reason).
