I have been wanting to get Tiger Woods but I found out that '08 is coming out in a few months? Should I wait or is '07 so good that I should go ahead and get it?
Usually TW games don't offer much from year to year except new fantasy courses. The real courses aren't going to change much. Other than that it is just small tweaks and stuff every year.Â
 With a new system, though, I'm sure there will be some major upgrades and improved gameplay. When Madden first came out for PS2 it was pretty baren of bells and whistles and now there is more than I want. TW was just a port. I would expect it to be more customized for the wii and the bugs in the swing and course physics fixed. Even though TW07 is a blast, I would wait for 08' and if you can't wait, pick up a used copy.
I'd wait for the 08 version.  Usually EA sports games for new systems are rushed and by the time 08 comes out they'll have gotten the kinks out of it and will be a more polished and complete title.  The same held true for the Madden games for the 360.
I'm wondering if any of the people who told you to wait for '08 have even played '07? I have and let me tell you it rocks. Now if you are a graphics guy (and if you are what are yo doing playing a Wii) you may not like it. Well I for one didn't buy a Wii for great graphics. I bought it because it offers a unique way to play video games. That translates to a very fun Tiger Woods '07 game for the Wii. I love the sound from the Wiimote every-time you tee off. The controls are very easy to adjust to and the only locked golfers are the fictional ones so all your real golfers like Daly, Singh, and others are already unlocked which I dug. I say give it a try and if you don't like it you can always use it as a trade in for something else.
Was 08 announced for Wii? I know we should expect it to come to Wii, but unless it's officially been announced, they might hold the release back to try and maximise sales of 07.
