Errr, Super Smash Bros?
lol I knew someone would come up with that lolThe "story" of Soul Calibur was always so convoluted and ridiculous with all the various subplots, I wonder if the adventure game will be as confusing, or if they will follow one storyline.TheLordMagnus
It probaly will follow the long twisting story of some of the fighters in the game, like you can have the ability to play as say Nightmare, Kilik, and Cervantes. of course those specific characters are just used for the sake of an example.

pluse i dont think sony will let Nintendo have soul cal. cuz thats what happen with part 3
Matt Casamassina :| his 'insider information' about 50/50 in its accuracy from what I have seen through the years so we will see, it does sound lik it hints strongly towards Soul Calibur which would be great. Also didn't the Naruto beat em up sell well if I remember correctly? that would also translate easily to an adventure game I would imagine.csliney
Despite the topic title, Soul Calibur isn't an Adventure game. It's a 2.5d fighter like the DBZ budokai games or the Tekken series.

Sony had nothing to do with Soul Calibur. Last time I remember, Soul Calibur is a 3rd party game. Sony paid the price to buy the exclusivity of Soul Calibur 3 since it was known that the SC2 PS2 version sold crap compared to the SC2 GameCube version which it sold the most copies of the 3 versions.

in the ign podcast they said it wasn't bloody roar. bozon said it.
I like the adventure idea. I was going to get soul calibur 4 for 360, since I think that fighting games are really about graphics (SSBB also counts since it has a great artistic style) and I prefere playing them with regular controllers. Nightmare has a great histoty, so I think that he would be the perfect main guy :DStorebror89I'll agree with you, fighting games are ALL about the looks (except for 2d fighters...obviously) but as far as 3d goes, the better looking/more brutal looking the fights are, the better/greater the game is
