Rock Man 9 (megaman) Poll

I am excited. The only problem is that if you don't like playing the old nes games you will probably hate 9.

I think that a majority of people will end up disliking it.

A billion times yes. I wish they'd do more games like that. Things have gotten way too complicated with all that fancy-pants 3D photorealistic business. ;)

Very true.

I bought Mega Man on the the first day it launched in the UK and did the same also when 2 was released, I will be staying up on that late September night ready to download this game straight away. So, of course yes. I adore Mega Man games and many games from the 8 bit era, I play many of them still to this very day both on the original platforms and on the VC.

I just hope this new game is harder than 1, I don't want a easy game like 2 was, the more difficult the better, that's what I expect from Mega Man.

im excited about it but i plan on geting whipped it happens every time i havent played a megaman game for a while and decide to pick one up....like with Marverick hunter X

I'm pretty sure the great majority of people here will at least have to face a game over at least 10 times in this game, if not many more. :P I'm sure looking up to this game for a day one purchase. ;)

lol Let's just hope there is a Megaman 10. ;) And I'm aiming for only 10 game overs this time around. :P

The original Mega Man (Rockman) is only really hard on the Dr. Wily level. The rest is very balanced. Then again, I like replaying things, so dying ten times while playing a game is hardly even noticeable to me. Dying is part of the game! I'm happy about this game, and even happier that it features good 8-bit graphics, with really neat visual...er...stile.
