I'd rather Nintendo actually focus on making a new IP property. Failing that (likely), a proper Metroid... as in one that at least exists on a 2D plane, if not fully 2D.

A new kid icarus featuring the new stylized pit seems appropriate at this time.... Why else would they make him totally new in brawl? Ooooh and Castlevania, Castlevania for wii sounds awesome.

Since we can't get MSG4, then a complete revampted 3D version of the original Metal Gear game would satisfy most of those (myself included) who really want to see Snake on the Wii (apart from SSBB). Would'nt it be nice to experience the clash between Snake and Big Boss in full 3D? And perhaps the option to play as Big Boss itself (unlockable option)???

I'd like to see a remake of Star Fox Assault for the Wii cause it was too short and I'd like to see it have online multiplayer with a longer and enhanced Single Player game

it was good and the concept is definitely much stronger than the game itself. Nintendo needs Bioshock devs on this game. If theres one thing I wanted from video games its for those guys to make the best geist game possible. n-Space is just not the right developer for what could be so ambitious. Seriously has the potential to be GOTY.

Well!!! I just realized that the question was intended for Nintendo-related developped games wich is not the case for the Metal Gear series. Sorry! Something related with Star Fox would be my choice then. All other "major" franchises have already been revisited.

Nintendo needs to make a new game, as much as i love remakes, especially ff games, we seriously need something new, plus most of those choices sucked, star fox was good but not deserving of a remake by any means. Why wouldn't you want a new story same deal as star fox 64, and better graphics?

I wouldnt mind seeing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remade with Twilight Princess graphics...but dont put it on a disc, put it on WiiWare. And make a hard drive....that would really be nice.

A Star Fox 2 SNES remake on the Wii would be nice, especially if they implement a multiplayer mode that's like the singleplayer campaign, but with the Lylat System map never pausing, and the entire Star Fox Team is controlled by human players. (I'm also thinking of having Star Wolf and his cronies playable as well to balance things out, as skilled Star Fox players would probably take out AI-based opposition too easily. And, no, Star Fox Command didn't exactly fulfill my wishes here.) However, after learning of the existence of Dragon Hopper and Bound High!, I'm now thinking about how to turn those two into WiiWare games since there's no way the Virtual Boy originals are ever going to be played by anyone other than Nintendo employees and lucky game prototype collectors that managed to get their hands on a copy. While they probably won't have the stereoscopic 3D effect without having to get special glasses, I can think of the advantages of the Wiimote, not being limited to red and black, online connectivity, the vastly increased power of the Wii over a VB, and other such things.

What Nintendo needs to make is a real Starfox game. There hasn't been any real Star Fox games after Star Fox 64 and its really dissapointing.

Pikmin seems like the most logical game to bring to the system IMO. The Wiimote's pointer would be a natural addition for this game.

The most logical and best I could see re-doing or remaking Geist would be Retro. They did a great job with the Metroid series, but it would be a little different for them and still keep up on their FPS skills.

DK would be my next to make a sequel to, but please, please Nintendo. Give us the bad ass bosses that were in DKC. The boxing match in DK64 sucked!

Kid Icarus would just be awesome in my opinion. Especially if it was a mix of Mario, God of War, and Zelda. Go Pit!

Star Fox would be sweet too if it had online. I really didn't mind the 3rd person parts of Adventures. Assault wasn't bad, but I never played the 3rd one. Just more flying missions please. Might as well max out the Wii!

I think it would be sweet if they had online, and a "create a ship" so everyone would be differnt. Customization would be nice, and even include your Mii in the cockpit if wanted for online matches.

If Mii's became useable, please, please let us wear those awesome shades! EVERYONE LOVES AVIATORS

Right off the top of my head I seemed to think starfox was the no-brainer for sure, until I remembered how much fun I've had with mario tennis and golf games...so it's really a split decision but I might actually go for the mario games

If they are going to remake a game at all, it should be something that will take advantage of the Wiimotes' tech. So I would like to see a game like Pilotwings reborn.

I don't know about you guys, but I was playing Brawl the other day, and I used an assist trophy that had Little Mac. I would love to see a new Punch Out! Seeing Little Mac brought back memories of Punch Out back in the day, and it seems like Nintendo has forgotten all about that franchise. They need a new Punch Out.

That's a good point. That's also what I had in mind with Metal Gear. For those of you who played MGS3 and found it difficult to execute CQC techniques with the PS controler, imagine how intuitive it would be with the wiimote...
