Pokemon problem!

ok i have Pokemon fire red. Today i was playing it and when i turned it on it said teh save file had been deleted

It had done that several times when i first started playing it but i had become careful.

I was playing it on the DS, but now im playing it on the advance and it seems to be ok

was there a problem with fire red and the DS or do i have a dodgey game cartridge?

If you turn the console off straight away after it saves it can sometimes delete ur file

I'd leave a couple of seconds before switching it off

As far as the problem at hand, did you buy it new or used? Has it by chance been through the wash? Did the cartridge become compromised at any point?

If not, then I got nothing. GB systems and games are built out of invincible if you take care of them.
